How can you find out if you are eligible for insurance benefits?

- Ask your union representative.
How will I be notified once I become eligible?
Once you are eligible, and your employer submits your information to Heartland Health & Wellness Fund, you will be sent a new member packet from Heartland that explains what you need to do to enroll.
Mandatory yearly enrollment/re-enrollment
Annual enrollment options are typically mailed out between October and November. Reminders and instructions are mailed to you when the enrollment period is approaching. Open enrollment occurs at the end of the year usually November and December. ALWAYS READ MAIL from Heartland Health & Wellness Fund.
